We have a screening process for all children's ministers involved in our ministry. We also adhere to the requirements of the national children's act of SA. We also know that we live in a broken world and for this reason we have a check-in system for all children within our campus, although methods may vary at this stage.
Because children are important we strive to function in small groups as to build meaningful relationships with children. Making them feel welcome and loved.
We also believe that children need to receive relevant teaching of God's Word at their level. For this reason we have developed our own curriculum that empowers children with the Message in:
We believe that children should Know God through teaching of God's Word and personal experience created by the family and the church.
We believe that children should know that God has a plan for their lives and it begins with a personal relationship with Him. We focus on having a child know that God loves them, God made them, like Him and God wants to lead them make everyday choices.
Children should also know that God Loves all people not just them and part of our calling as believers is to Love people as God loves them.
We thus focus on truths like I love others, even if they are different to me. I love to serve through my words and deeds. I love in all my life, meaning that I live a lifestyle of love and service because God loved us first, we know also love.
We also believe that part of our calling is to make a difference in this world through who we are. Therefore we teach children to live God's truth. Not the truth of the society or even of people that have spoken things over their lives, but the truth about them, people and society as it is written in the Bible, the Word of God. We also believe to change society it starts with "ME". For this reason we teach our children that we need to bring change through our lives, our attitudes and our actions.
We also believe in creating an atmosphere where children can engage in their own way with God en connect to Him personally. For this reason our praise & worship time is very valuable to us and nearly always leads to a time of prayer and engagement with God through different age appropriate expressions.
We also strive to create a child friendly environment where children will feel at home and where they will want to be as well as invite their friends. By doing this we receive more “air time” with children to introduce them to this loving God who made them with a purpose.
We also believe that we have only successfully taught a truth if:
This is why our lessons almost always has a hand-out or take home activity as well as a challenge for the week.

Children are a gift from God (Psalm 127:3) but with this gift also come responsibility. According to scripture (Deut 6:7) it is the parent's primary responsibility to raise a child according to the Word of God. For this reason we venture to partner with parents to further equip and support them for this task. We try to incorporate a short teaching for parents that they can use at home to teach their children the central truth from Sunday.
We also believe that the whole congregation needs to take up involvement in the upbringing of children according to Deut.6. Therefore we are continuously creating opportunities for everyone to be involved in children's lives, either by:
